GNU Assembler from Binutils 2.18

• the assembler has been updated to support theextended SPARC ISA
• file modified is opcodes/sparc-opc.c
• configured for the sparc-sun-solaris target

-Generate System ACE file

e.g. xmd -tcl genace.tcl -hw system.bit -elf ../mb-firmware-hv/executable.elf -target mdm -board ml411 -ace ../sparc.ace

Booting Solaris

-dow mb-firmware-hv/executable.elf

-dow -data prom.bin 0x27f00000
